Why attorneys work with us
Your time belongs on the case.
Fraud and financial-abuse matters often arrive as a box of statements and a story. Before you can evaluate them, someone has to turn years of records into something you can read in an afternoon.
That is our work. We build the chronology, the evidence index and the loss summary, so you can spend your time on judgment, strategy and the courtroom, not on bank statements.
What we prepare
Organized the way you work.
Chronologies
Every relevant event in order, each tied to its source document.
Evidence tables
Records catalogued, labeled and cross-referenced for quick review.
Transaction analysis
Transfers traced and summarized, with forensic accounting coordinated through licensed professionals where needed.
Case memos
A concise summary of what the record shows, and what it does not.
The VAA Counsel Network
Bring us into your representation.
Attorneys in our Counsel Network can recommend Victim Advocacy Associates to clients as part of their representation. With the client’s written consent, you engage us directly, our work is performed under your direction, and our fees are disclosed to the client as a case cost.
Because the engagement runs through you, our work becomes part of your own case preparation. Whether any protection attaches to it is, of course, your call as counsel.
- The client always chooses. Our involvement is recommended, never required.
- No referral fees, in either direction. We never pay for referrals and never take a share of any recovery or legal fee.
- Licensed work stays licensed. Investigative and forensic tasks that require a license go to licensed professionals.
