Independent Professionals

Investigative and Legal
Expertise When Needed

Trial Lawyer

Bruce Bealke

A trial lawyer with 40 years of experience, licensed in Illinois. Bruce is independent of VAA. When a client or firm needs legal counsel, we can make an introduction.

Licensed Private Investigator

Licensed Private Investigator

A retired police captain with 25 years of law-enforcement experience, licensed as a private investigator in Florida. Work that requires a license is performed by this professional under their own engagement.

Beyond these professionals, VAA maintains a vetted referral network: attorneys, licensed professional counselors (LPCs) and other mental health professionals, and practical services such as investigators, accountants and expert witnesses. We vet every professional before we refer anyone to them.

These professionals provide their services independently, under their own agreements, and are separately scoped. VAA never pays or accepts referral fees. VAA provides advocacy and practical support; legal representation, licensed investigative work and therapy are provided by the appropriate professionals.
